Transparency International Slovakia regurarly evaluates the governmental efforts to fight corruption. In February 2012 TIS published the assessment of Iveta Radičová’s government and the National Council of the Slovak republic and their efforts to curb corruption.The best law in fighting corruption passed by Radičová’s government is the amendment to the act on judges and assessors that brought publishing of the courts’ decisions online, public selection procedures for judges, and more detailed financial disclosure statements for judges. It follows from the ranking of Transparency International Slovakia that invited 13 experts to assess twenty anti-corruption laws brought before the parliament in this term.

According to the recent public opinion poll (FOCUS, 2012), more than two thirds of the Slovak citizens (67%) think that the previous government (2010-2012) does not have a real intention to curb bribery and corruption.
