Since September 2010 TIS in cooperation with the town of Prievidza started to work on the project called Audit and preparation of selected anti-corruption measures in the town of Prievidza. The aim is to introduce a comprehensive package of anti-corruption measures in 18 key areas of the town activities.
A joint project of the town and TIS is based on three phases:
- in the first phase, there is the audit of individual policies, namely detection of problem areas prone to acts of corruption, which will be summarized in the report of audit policies,
- the second phase will be concrete proposals for processing anti-corruption measures to remove or eliminate the space for the emergence of corruption and lack of transparency
- third, and the last phase of the project will be implementation of the anti-corruption measures
